MIRROR, MIRROR, ON THE . . .
I never throw anything I can repurporse away, that includes any broken glass. I replaced the rotted out threshold sill at the entrance to my apartment with some new pressure treated lumber then tiled the surface with 1/4" old float mirror that had broken.

This is the Craftsfman style home that was built in 1927 on the shore of Echo Lake, just feet from where I currently live, below the Echo Lake Tavern.
Before it is sold to some developer who will simply tear it down, I wanted to capture the quiet elegance of this wonderful piece of property.
